We have completed the beta testing for the new template websites, everything currently working as planned the first client is working with the CMS system to spot any bugs or difficult to use options which may need changing.

Luke has done an excellent job in creating the CMS he has completed the meta data tool which allows the user to update the title, description and keywords as they need to. So a very powerful tool as the customer.

We will now look into adding a video up link tool probably straight from You tube.

Show time has rolled around again, so once more we ready our selves to set up the marquee, picket fence and everything else that goes along with the whole show experience.

The project is designed to bring hosting, website, domain name and CMS into a single affordable package.

Luke is currently completing the CMS functions which allow standard full control over the on page content alongside a degree of customisation to the format of the page also.

As the project develops over time we will seek to extend the potential for customisation of the page template.

Marrying design requirements with the provision of a functional, simple to access fast website. Will often involve compromise and a reality check.

When initially dealing with a client and forming the specs for a site and creating the look and feel from a customers spec  we ask the question “Will the site quickly and accurately inform the viewer what your product is and how to access it?” The reality of that answer will greatly influence design concepts.

One of the important metrics for measuring the success of a site is to understand the concept of bounce rate. Which can be found on the Google analytics dash board.  Bounce rate measures the percentage of people who visit one page of a site and leave without looking at any further pages.

The secondary information from the average length of time spent on a site.  A high time spent on the site with a low bounce rate is the ideal.

From what we can see this is an attempt to solicit registration details, so that the domain name registration can be “hoodwinked” and they can turn around and sell / lease the domain back to you at a much higher cost than your standard renewal. There is no need to pass these people any of your information.

Eleven years of web design has taught us to listen to our customers. To make every effort to ensure their needs and requirements have been met in the build process.

So when we began to receive calls and enquiries last year for low cost start up web options, we knew we had to provide a solution and adapt our business to suit.

Instead of using a pre packaged system we created our own flexible template. This provides the customer with design options and a great content management system which puts the customer in control.

We are in the process of testing right now and producing the first versions of the site.The aim of the project is to provide a site, hosting, domain name & email from under £200.
